Duong Lam village is also home of Mr. Giang Van Minh, the envoy and the prominent diplomat, who heroically sacrificed to protect the country when being on duty. All houses, gates, village gates and wells are built of laterite creating an architectural complex, a unique village that is typical for villages in the midlands in the North of Vietnam.

At present, there are still nearly old 200 houses and many other historical monuments such as Phung Hung Temple, Ngo Quyen royal tomb, Mong Phu communal house, a row of ancient streblus which is the place King Ngo Quyen tied elephants in legend, Ho Gam hill at which Phung Hung killed tiger to rescue villagers and church at which Giang Van Minh envoy is worshiped.

Mia pagoda is one of famous pagoda of  Duong Lam commune, Son Tay town. It is one of temples with the unique architecture. The entire temple was built of valuable timber and had ‘Muc” shaped architecture. Mia Pagoda is also known as Sung Nghiem Tu. It was built in the reign of Tran.In 17th century, there were many unique statues of Buddha, demonstrating the sublime art of artisans of casting, modeling, carving in ancient times.

Va temple, known as the East Palace locates on a low hill surrounded by hundreds of ancient ironwood trees with hundreds of years old along with dozens of wood species, four seasons of green color, this is a temple which has the largest-scale in nearly 200 relics in Doai area; this temple worships Tan Vien Son God - one of the four immortal Vietnamese.

Visitors from many places gather here to raise incense and worship the god and play in special festival season, they will find the soul more light, relieved and bright.
Va Temple hstorical and cultural relic was ranked as the historical - cultural relic with national level by the State in 1964. Va temple along with the ancient citadel of Son Tay and relic of Duong Lam ancient village has become an attractive destination for local and foreign tourists to visit Son Tay land – the center of ancient Doai origin.
