• Overview

  Thuy Bieu is featured by its rustic settings, typical of Hue countryside. The whole village is hidden in luxuriant gardens of citruit and bamboo. Local peole live in small blue cottages, built in traditional architecture with small chambers, titled roof and long gate. All houses have a small altar on one side of the gate dedicated to ancestor worshipping. You may also find many temples and communal houses in the village, a feature of Hue culture.Every spring, the village is filled with its aromatic white flower and when autumn comes, the ripe pomelo can be found everywhere.

  Thuy Bieu may be the loveliest village you will see in Vietnam. It is rustic setting with lush greens, laid back lifestyle and amazing food will capture your heart.

  Perfume River Cruise - Thuy Bieu Village biking - Hue Cooking Class (L)

  Our guide and driver will pick you up at hotel in Hue at 08:00 am for transferring to pier, embark on boat for cruise along the poetic Perfume River and fill your heart and mind with fresh air. If water level is high enough, we will stop at Dong Ba Market to buy food ingredients for the cooking class later. The main destination of our journey is the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda (Heavenly Lady Pagoda)-the symbol of Hue city.

  
  Cruise toward Thuy Bieu Eco-village, an ancient village overlooking the most pristine part of Perfume River backed by Ngu Binh mountain. Arrive in the village, you will join our cooking class to prepare Hue signature dishes with our chef & instruction, then enjoy your creations in the open air riverside restaurant surrounded by luxuriant trees.

  The afternoon spent for biking around the laid-back, rustic and peaceful setting of Thuy Bieu village, passing several communal houses, ancient temples and especially the garden house - a typical and unique feature of Hue. After a day of walking, your foot will be cared by soaking in the medical herb water and excellent blind massage. Back to the hotel.
