  Of the 342 coral species in Con Dao, two are classified as soft coral, while the remaining species form various hard, branching, plate and leaf-like growths. One of the most beautiful reef areas in the country, these water are teeming with life , including Dugongs, dolphins, and other marine mammals . The various colors of the 202 fish species and the bright-lipped Giant Clams make its exploration a marvelous wonder to witness.

  Some of the best dive sites  include : Tai island, Bong Lan island, Bay Canh island, Cau island, Trung island, Tre Lon island, Tre Nho island. Don’t miss your chance to discover the wonders of Con Dao’s underwater world.

  A forty-five minute boat-ride from Con So tourism pier takes visitors to Bay Canh Island, the second largest island of the archipelago after Con Son. Where one can explore and learn about mangroves, hike through tropical forests, snorkel through coral reef, and visit Bay Canh Sea turtles conservation station. Bay Canh island beaches host the largest number of green sea turtle nesting sites in all of Vietnam. Visitors shall have lunch and a couple hours rest on the island before returning to port on Con Son.
