  Share Vietnam and Cambodia with your family as you discover the diverse regions and meet the smiling locals. Float on sparkling Halong Bay on an overnight boat and crawl through the Cu Chi tunnels. Learn to navigate a basket boat near Hoi An and experience the relaxed lifestyle of the Mekong Delta on an overnight home-stay. In Cambodia, see the temples of Angkor from a tethered balloon or a tuk-tuk then creep through the jungle to watch the sun rising over Angkor Wat.

  DAYS 1-3: HANOI & HALONG BAY

  On arrival in Hanoi, transfer to your hotel and meet the other families joining you on this great adventure. Visit the Museum of Ethnology for a taste of Vietnam’s cultural heritage. Discover the serene Temple of Literature and uncover fascinating history at the infamous Hanoi Hilton prison, before an evening performance of the famous water puppets delights. A scenic drive past farmers working the rice paddies brings you to World Heritage listed Halong Bay where you board an exciting boat cruise and float past hundreds of soaring limestone mountains. A night on-board is a highlight for young and old. On your return to Hanoi, a short flight brings you to Hoi An.

  DAYS 4-7: HOI AN

  Experience local life on an interactive farming and fishing tour, where you can try your hand at riding a buffalo, planting a garden, steering a basket boat and traditional net fishing, a great way to learn about local culture while having heaps of fun. A full day of free time gives you the chance to explore Hoi An, perhaps relaxing at the beach or roam the colourful streets of this atmospheric town. Take part in an art class and learn the local art of lantern making, before a visit to Marble Mountain.

  DAYS 8-11: SAIGON & MEKONG DELTA

  Fly to Saigon, Vietnam’s largest city. Stroll along historic Dong Khoi Street and visit the reunification Palace and War remnants Museum. In the tranquil Mekong Delta, a day spent cruising the waterways and visiting local farms and orchards is followed by a home-stay with a local family to immerse you into the local culture. Return to Saigon for a fun-filled afternoon at the Dam Sen Waterpark. The whole family will enjoy the trip to the amazing Cu Chi tunnels where you have the chance to crawl through the tunnels yourself.

  DAYS 12-15: SIEM REAP

  A short flight lands in Siem Reap, home to the amazing temples of Angkor. Visit Ta Prohm, famed for appearing in the Tomb raider film, and soar high above the temples on a tethered balloon. The next morning creep through the darkness, your path lit only by torchlight to see the spectacular vista of the first light of dawn falling on Angkor Wat, then explore more of the temples from the back of an elephant and thrilling tuk-tuk ride. Cruise Tonle Sap Lake, and then discover a silk farm. Learn to make Khmer ceramics and take an entertaining horse and cart ride. On your last day, enjoy free time until your departure transfer.
