The event themed “Ha Long – Heritage, Wonder, Friendly Destination” includes 50 interesting programs on culture, sports and tourism

This is the second National Tourism Year hosted by the northeastern coast province of Quang Ninh. 

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said 42 events will take place in provinces and cities nationwide in response to the National Tourism Year. Highlight of the National Tourism Year will be the opening ceremony and Ha Long Carnival scheduled for April 28, 2018. 

The closing ceremony will be linked to the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2019 and the Ha Long Golf Open Tournament.

Diverse activities will be held at different localities. They include the northeast food festival, the paragliding contest and international mountain bike tourney. 

Many other events will also be held in Quang Ninh including the Asia Beach Volleyball Tournament, Ha Long International Marathon 2018 and Ha Long – Japan investment promotion conference.
