The fifth International Kite festival to be held in Vung Tau and Ba Ria cities from May 8 to May 12,2014.

The 5th Kite Festival is one cultural events of Ba Ria - Vung Tau  province in 2014, that gathers 150 artisans from 26 nations and territories from around the world and six local teams.

Scheduled activities include a kite exhibition at Intourco Hotel, foreign artisans’ training course on making kites, Rokkaku Kite competition, and flute kite contest along the Thuy Van-Paradise beach.

The 5th International Kite Festival will be held to maintain and uphold traditional cutural features, provide wholesome and civilized social environment which play role as base for social-economic development. On the other hand , the festival also improve cultural events to be special tourist products that enrich activities of local tourism. The festival is also a cultural bridge between countries and  an opportunity for the business community to introduce and promote their trademark at home and abroad.

Ba Ria - Vung Tau province hold  Four successfully International Kite Festival before and wish that  this International Kite Festival being held yearly is a good chance to publicize friendly impression of Vietnamese people to the world.
