A direct air route linking the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho and the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong will be launched on April 26, with one-way fare set at 840,000 VND (around 38.6 USD).
The air route will be operated by Vasco and the Vietravel tourist company. Under the contract, Vietravel will charter two flights using 65-seat ATR plane per week. Forty out of the 65 seats will be reserved for Vietravel’s customers, while the remaining will be sold to the public.
The opening of the Lam Dong ( Lien Khuong airport) -Can Tho air route will help boost tourism connectivity between the two localities as well as others in the two regions.
Dalat is the capital of Lam Dong province , With its year-round cool weather, Da Lat supplies temperate agriculture products for all over Vietnam as well as a well-know tourist destination of Vietnam. Many of its hotels and houses were built in a French style during the French colonization. There are many places for tourists interested in architecture to visit, such as Dalat Railway Station, designed by French architects Moncet and Reveron, or Hang Nga guest house, Bao Dai Palace... While, tourism in Can Tho is booming, with people using it as a base for boat trips on the Delta and also as a day trip place from HCMC. The city is one of floating markets and fruit stalls, and boasts many unique attractions and waterfront restaurants.
